THE CRIME OF ILLICIT ENRICHMENT IN ECUADOR

Resumen

From the perspective of a teacher and criminologist, I have analyzed the criminal offense of "ILLICIT ENRICHMENT" in Ecuador, as well as its consequences resulting from acts of corruption and its effects on people, which affects a large part of the social extract, without exception or distinction of ethnicity, place of birth, age, sex, gender identity, cultural identity, marital status, language, ideology, political affiliation, judicial past, socio-economic status, immigration status, sexual orientation, health status, disability, physical difference, religion, ideology, political affiliation, judicial past, socio-economic condition, migratory condition, sexual orientation, health status, disability, physical difference, indicating that in our society, in the last two decades, has been immersed in major scandals from top-level public officials and even some former presidents of our country and the region.
